UNLOCKING VALUE THROUGH CONSULTING, EPC AND O&M SERVICES.
Every power station project that USP&E has completed, in its opinion, has improved the company. Consequently, we were able to help our clients realize value and reduce risk related to their surplus HFO.
The vision at USP&E is to be the most trusted supplier in emerging markets with regards to providing power. Knowing this, it is obvious that our divisions work in accordance with our particular area of focus. By ensuring that our clients’ operational costs are reduced, this is done to ensure that value is generated.
Owners and Executive Teams are supported by USP&E Consulting (North America, Africa, and India) with regards to major project development opportunities, and we achieve this with our background that is diverse and extensive, especially when it comes to project planning and management.
Before the project execution phase, often known as the EPC, can begin, all infrastructure projects must complete a number of steps (“Engineering, Procurement, and Construction”).
One of these steps is the…
CONCEPTUAL FEASIBILITY ON YOUR SURPLUS HFO GENERATOR
A technical and commercial examination is what is involved with a feasibility study to determine a project’s potential for success. The feasibility study’s main purpose is to determine whether the project will be viable. This is ofcourse only possible if all the resources are avalilable.
Many times, the Conceptual Feasibility Study (CFS) is prepared at the start of a project’s development phase. During the scoping phase, all critical design alternatives are examined, and the project execution plan is established.
The definition of CFS is that it is an order of magnitude estimate. This includes contingency, that has an accuracy to +/- 20%. In accordance with the level of detail required, USP&E frequently completes a CFS in Africa between 30 and 60 days.
USP&E Consulting LLC’s Africa and India practice creating the type of economic models that shareholders, banks, and investment committees all require prior to a Financial Investment Decision (FID).
Our Definitive Feasibility Studies (DFS) at USP&E are accurate to +/- 10%, and they provide professional financial projections that are relative to the power station of each infrastructure project (mining, hospitality, oil and gas, manufacturing, etc). A DFS is essentially a thorough, forward-looking, assumption-driven economic and technical project report that is to be used by the owner’s executive team in order to work with the Board of Directors (BOD) to determine the Net Present Value (NPV) of the proposed asset over its life in order to reach a positive FID and to achieve the organization’s target outcome: sustained profitability.
